Amigos Unidos Project
In 2016, a small group of passionate individuals came together with a shared vision: to make a difference in the lives of those who need it the most. This vision led to the creation of Amigos Unidos, a volunteer group dedicated to providing support and resources for our homeless neighbors in Los Angeles, CA. Over the years, our mission has expanded, but our core purpose remains the same. Our goal is to help those in need, promote kindness, and foster a spirit of community.
How can you make a difference?
- Local Food Banks – Many organizations always need help with packing, serving meals, or sorting donations
- Animal Shelters – Volunteering at an animal shelter can involve walking dogs, cleaning kennels, or helping with adoption events.
- Community Clean-ups – Participate in or organize local clean-up efforts in parks, streets, or beaches
What’s Next for Amigos Unidos?
Amigos Unidos is proud of the work that we have done, but our mission is far from over! With the support of volunteers and donors, we continue to serve and uplift our community, believing that small acts of kindness can create lasting change. As Amigos Unidos has grown, so has our commitment to expanding our impact. We are excited to broaden our efforts by organizing more beach clean-ups and increasing our volunteer work at convalescent homes and children’s hospitals!
